To avoid the disappointment of arriving at Goosedale and unable to fly because no-one else is there, I sometimes venture to my local fields and fly there....on my own ! - obviouly in this instance, though, accompanied by photographer.

ARTF can be picked up almost anywhere these days - this Comet, as can be seen here, comes in very few pieces, allowing for a really quick assembly.

Colin soon has the Comet assembled and engines on song....I'm not too sure about those wings - maybe filed to too sharp a point !

... airborne, but I think it was soon after now that the pointy wings got the urge to stick themselves into the ground.... and the Comet reverted to ARTF mode !

Roy here excited at doing such a low level knife-edge, and just then I think the plane realised he'd forgotten his transmitter - the ground was not too bruised, though... and neither was the plane - it soon flew again.
